THOSE WITH GOD-SIZED VISIONS

Big money follows big solutions coming off the plates of big dreamers.
Embrace the thrill of thinking big, planning big, and then surprising yourself with your implementation. Those who are easily satisfied and quickly impressed will be left behind by those with a big appetite for success, who are never content with the status quo.
Consider yourself an instrument of God's grand plan, a part of His design that acts according to His divine imagination, ready to be used on a God-sized scale.
Bible says:
'...we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. - Ephesians 2:10 '
God has a vision for every segment of the world, with millions of projects to keep upgrading them, each massive in scale and scope yet to be implemented. His vision only considers His available resources and does not try to fit into your budget.
Apostle Paul pointed this fact out in this prayer;
'And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. ' - Philippians 4:19
Here's a quick personal story for effect: I was fresh out of college and headlong into business when I stumbled upon my first start-up, building on a great idea and an even greater selling proposition. I found a helper who believed in my vision early on; together, we combed the streets of Lagos, Nigeria, and quickly brought in the equivalent of $10.000 monthly, purely on fumes and sheer toil, although we were years away from breaking even.
Building an entire team would help us scale and potentially shorten our journey to profitability. For this, we needed a more substantial structure, which meant more capital for a business that was already heavily capital-intensive, or so we thought. Providence smiled at us when a satisfied client, a retired military officer who had been a part of the last military government in Nigeria, introduced us to a VC, a novel concept in the country, in 2001.
We prepared the best we could, but the presentation ended before it started because of the size of the capital we were trying to raise, which was in the first paragraph of the executive summary. The response letter was brief; it read, "can't be supported." The reason was that we were not a right fit for the fund they had running at the time for start-ups.
Despite the setback, we remained undeterred. We realized our rejection was not due to our lack of potential but because the firm only supported start-ups seeking a minimum $1M capital infusion.
Another issue we had was that most individuals and entities interested in our model(primarily banks) also wanted more equity than my tiny mind was willing to part with. Eventually, I lost out because they cloned what I had built and employed many people I had trained.
Having added a few decades to my experience, I can now say that thinking too small is a far bigger problem than thinking too big because, as I found out with the VCs, God will only supply your needs according to His riches in glory, based on the view from His vantage point, not according to your worldview.
Big money is only interested in big dreams. It has too much money and insufficient personnel to accommodate numerous small players; it employs the best and pays them op dollars to midwife world-class projects.
In 2025, thanks to the information superhighway, almost anything is possible, so there is a continuous flow of great and not-so-great ideas in the hands of small thinkers. The bottom rung is in a perpetual gridlock of small people with even smaller aspirations. At the same time, an unlimited amount of resources keeps building up at a rate never before seen in the history of the world, looking for the next big thing.
As I type, bidding wars are breaking out to support the craziest daredevils willing to risk everything in pursuit of the impossible. Are you one of those with God-sized visions?
